THE CHOICES! The sandwich list on the wall is so overwhelming because all of the options are delicious. We have a few favorites. Service is always so friendly. it can sometimes be slow, but only because they get a huge lunch crowd/rush and they do their best to keep up. Eating in is casual and they give so many pickles. It's a great lunch spot

Before boarding a train from Rhode Island to New Jersey, my friend offered to buy me lunch. Wanting something easy to eat on the train, we ordered sandwiches from Geoff's Superlative Sandwiches. I ordered the David Cicilline sandwich on a superlative roll. The roll was soft and held up well to the amount of ingredients in the sandwich (meats, cheese, onions, peppers, etc.) as well as the oil and vinegar. All in all it was a pretty tasty deli sandwich for the price.

I went to Geoff's on a quiet day over my work's holiday break for a quick bite. The menu is huge and can be very overwhelming, but there is truly something for everyone. I opted to get a tuna sandwich that had banana peppers, balsamic, sprouts, tomato, cheese, and bacon. It seemed like a crazy combination to me, but it was so good! I ordered my sandwich on the superlative roll and it was a large portion. I ate half of the sandwich and saved the other half for later. You order with one staff member and then move down the counter where another person checks you out at the register. They also offered complimentary pickles, which is the key to my heart! There are many places to grab lunch in PVD, but Geoff's is a great option (with many menu options)!

I had never heard of this place until recently and once I discovered they had a thanksgiving sandwich I knew I had to try it. I got the "Roger Williams" (turkey, stuffing, bacon, cranberry, sprouts, lettuce, onion, tomato) on a spinach wrap to-go and it was amazing. I cannot attest to other menu items as I will forever only order this sandwich, but I promise you will not be disappointed if you try it. If you're not this kind of sandwich lover, there are still SO many options to choose from, even some salad options too! I also received a pickle with my sandwich (another one of my favorite foods), and I would rate it top 5 best pickles I have ever had. Although I got my food to-go, it was very comfortable inside, had lots of seating and seems like a great atmosphere to sit down and grab a bite to eat!

We've walked by Geoff's Superlative Sandwiches many times, but had yet to try this spot. On this day, we were looking for a quick bite along our 5-mile trek, and wanted to eat outside. Geoff's seemed to check off both of those boxes, so we ventured in and gazed upon their gigantic sandwich menu board (check out the photo). It was difficult to decide, as there were so many tasty sounding sandwiches to choose from. After a few minutes we selected: * Reuben ($10.99): hot corned beef, sauerkraut, melted Swiss, Russian dressing on toasted rye * The Juggs ($11.99): hot turkey, bacon, melted Cheddar, Shedd's sauce and cranberry sauce * Chips ($2.99) * Water ($1.99) When placing the order we were offered numerous options such as roll, bread, toasted, pickles, etc. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes, which was appreciated. The sandwiches were nicely toasted. I liked The Juggs best, it was very tasty and quite substantial. It was good, though not as good as turkey sandwiches with stuffing and it could have benefited from more cranberry sauce. My co-diner liked the Reuben best, though I thought it had too much sauerkraut. That said, we enjoyed our lunch ($31.20) and would be happy to return.

I've been meaning to check this place out for years...then I moved away...and years added on some more. OMG, I was missing out. This was located right on South Main Street. Parking was metered and on-street. We were walking and exploring and happened to stumble upon the shop, which was perfect because I've always wanted to try out their sandwiches. The service was quick and friendly. The decor was rustic and there were plenty of seats/tables. I loved their huge menu on the wall and the mostly Rhode Island theme names of the sandwiches. They have over 90 recipes and you can customize the sandwiches as you'd like. This time I tried out the "Jen and Berry" on rye; this comes with chicken salad, melted Muenster, lettuce, onions, mustard, cranberry sauce & sweet basil. Oh My Gosh. So Darn Good. The flavors intermingled so perfectly together; I wasn't a fan of their pickles but people seem to love them. I had the Dirty Potato chips with funky flavor and Empire root beer, those were great too. If I lived in RI again, I would be there weekly. I already have a list of sandwiches I want to try out next time I visit. Not surprised they're in business for over 40 years!

First time in and we ordered three different sandwiches. We got a traditional Rueben on rye which was very good. Only complaint was that it's not very big if you're super hungry. I ordered a roast beef with provolone and really liked it. The bulky roll is just a round soft bread which is a really nice flavor. The picture is of the chicken George. It's a chicken salad sandwich but my husband wasn't a fan of the consistency at all. It was almost a spread versus chunks of chicken so that was a miss for him. The space itself was really clean and the service was great. I'll definitely be back!

Great local shop for sandwiches! You also get "free" pickles but note that they are behind the counter so you have to request them. Sides are available for purchase such as chips or fries. Service is fast. I didn't interact much with the staff other than ordering. Inside, it's casual, first come first serve seating. You order at the counter then grab a table and wait for your food. Prices are comparable to a cafe or an artisanal sandwich shop.
